Our last full week of January flew by! We have been busy working hard.  Thanks to all of you for supporting your child in learning their multiplication facts. This is such an important concept that needs to be mastered by the end of third grade. Thanks for taking the time to help your child learn their facts! Miller was our star student this week. We learned he likes carrot cake, the color red, Michigan Chiller books, turtles, his mom and dad and grandpa and grandma. He likes to visit Willis Tower and play with his PS4. We enjoyed getting to know Miller this week!

Ben and Cam both celebrated a half birthday this week – on the same day! This past Monday we got to celebrate their special day. We hope they have a great birthday this summer!

Happy Friday! We made it through the week…indoor recess and all. Unfortunately, next week looks pretty gloomy too. I seriously think with the new construction going on, and indoor playground should be added! How fun would that be? Pretty sure it won’t happen though…a girl can dream.

Dax was our star student this week. We learned he likes pizza, the colors green and orange, the movie Lilo and Stitch, bears, and playing PS4. We enjoyed getting to know Dax better this week!

We celebrated Levi’s half birthday this past week. His birthday is in July, so we took some time to celebrate that Levi turned 8 1/2 with a treat he brought in to share with the class. We hope you have a great birthday in July!

Hannah was our star student this week. We learned that Hannah likes chips and cheese, the color purple, being home with her family, the Lego Movie, dogs, pigs, bats, and owls. We enjoyed getting to know Hannah better this week.

Elliot was our star student this week. We learned his favorites are tacos, the color blue, being home, dogs, playing with the PS4, and watching SpongeBob. We enjoyed getting to know Elliot this week.

Happy New Year! Welcome back! Our first week of the new year is done. The students did a nice job of getting back into the routine of things. Bummer it was so cold this week and we couldn’t go outside. Hopefully things warm up next week. Enjoy the weekend and stay warm!

We had a wonderful time at our Christmas party! Thanks to the wonderful parents who volunteered to help out with the crafts, snacks, and games. Mrs. Wierenga was set up a photo booth for our students and took some great holiday photos of the kids. I have included a link for you to see the photos that were taken.
